(NECN: Josh Brogadir, St. Louis) - Game 3 of the World Series between the Boston Red Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals will take place Saturday night at Busch Stadium.

Plenty of people from New England made the voyage. Red Sox fan Howard Cronson from Framingham, Mass., who won a free trip to the World Series from Major League Baseball in December, was among them.

"'Congratulations, you've won this trip to the World Series!' My first thought was, 'is this a scam?' No, it turned out not to be a scam, and I'm here meeting my father in St. Louis, and we're gonna go to the game tomorrow night," said an excited Cronson.

He could have seen anybody - Dodgers-Rays, Pirates-A's - but he gets to see his team on the field at Busch Stadium.

"No clue that the Red Sox had a chance of being in the World Series after 69 wins," said Cronson. "It just worked out."
