(NECN: Greg Wayland, Boston) - Game 5 of the World Series was another late start, which means there will be some tired Boston Red Sox fans Tuesday morning.

However, the Fenway faithful say that sleep is optional these days.

"I can sleep after the World Series," one fan at the souvenir shop at Fenway says with a laugh.

Another fan says, "I was passing out at the end of the game last night, when Koji picked him off at first, that's what woke me up, I was fading in the latter half of the game."

"I sleep while I'm at work," jokes another fan, who says his boss understands because he's a Cardinals fan.

"Between the Patriots game followed by the heart attack Red Sox game, it was - Sunday supposed to be the day of rest. It ended well, but it wasn't a day of rest yesterday for sure," says a Red Sox fan.
