(NECN) – President Barack Obama will be in Boston Wednesday, talking about the Affordable Care Act, pointing out it has been in effect in Massachusetts since 2006.
For more on the president's visit, we brought in Tom Fiedler, dean of the College of Communication at Boston University.
He said he’s coming to Boston most likely to point out the success of what came to be known as “Romneycare” and that Massachusetts is known as the state that is the template for “Obamacare.”
He said he’s also likely here to discuss the 2014 mid-term elections.
“He wants to take back the House in 2014,” said Fiedler.
Fiedler said that polling shows that people think the Affordable Care Act and “Obamacare” are two different thing and poll numbers are showing people aren’t thinking of “Obamacare” as much as a negative.
