(NECN) – The City of Boston is ready for the Sox. The Red Sox will play the Cardinals Wednesday night at Fenway Park in Game 6 of the World Series.

The Sox are entering this game with a 3-2 lead, and could clinch the series in this game.

Red Sox PA Announcer and Poet Laureate Dick Flavin joined us with his insight.

He has a message for the team.

“Get them tonight while we got them down,” said Flavin.

He said that the team has great pitching and that good hitting will win the game.

Flavin said that he does not want to see a Game 7 because he wants to celebrate Wednesday night.

There are parking restrictions Wednesday afternoon with Game 6 of the World Series and President Obama's arrival. Follow this link for more.
