Mass. State Police arrest 1 of their most wanted high-risk sex offenders

(NECN) - Massachusetts State Police arrested a man they say is one of their most wanted high-risk sex offenders.

Troopers tracked down Umar Shabazz at Slades Bar and Grill on Tremont Street in Roxbury Crossing Tuesday.

He had three outstanding warrants from Worcester District Court, including failure to register as a level three sex offender.

Shabazz has served jail time for rape, kidnapping and armed robbery.
