(NECN) - Streets will be filled with all manner of creatures and characters Thursday night as kids trick or treat for Halloween.

But there is one city where Halloween is a big business.

Our Suffolk in the City Student Reporter Dan McCarthy joined us with more on the celebrations in Salem, Mass.

Outfits are outrageous and laughter is contagious in Salem.

According to, Salem generates an estimated $25-million in revenue from tourists in the month of October alone.

An estimated 75,000 people are expected to travel to Salem for Halloween.
