(NECN: Jackie Bruno, Boston) – Friday night is the Celtics home opener.

The fans are really excited, and so are business owners near the Garden.

The NHL lockout has taken away a lot of business from them, so the Celtics are bringing back a little of the business they’ve been missing. Restaurants, bars, hotels and other Boston businesses usually get about 1-million dollars in business.

Peter Colton, owner of The Fours, talks about the impact on his business.

Colton says it’s not just 1-million dollars but many millions of dollars. Some businesses are really feeling a crunch and hope the NHL lockout is resolved soon.

They are expecting a busy crowd for the Celtics home opener, and they are excited for the business.
