Tom Brady: Season 'hasn't been terrible, hasn't been great'

(NECN/CSN) – The New England Patriots checked in for their only practice of their bye week. Bill Belichick had them in full pads.

Even though they lead the AFC East, they know there’s lots of room for improvement in the second half of the season.

Tom Brady leads the NFL with 2,408 passing yards.

“You know, we’re 5-3; I think that tells you we’ve been a little bit up and down. It hasn’t been terrible. It hasn’t been great. And we have a lot of room for improvement, so, we’ll see how that goes over the course of the next eight weeks,” Brady said. “I mean, I could sit up here and make a bunch of predictions but we’ll leave that to you guys and that’s part of what, you know we have to go out there and do it, and we have to go out there and earn it.”
