(NECN) - For more on the national races and their impact on the political scene, we brought in political analyst Mara Dolan.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie secured his seat once again, but will he be campaigning again soon?

Dolan said that it is likely that he will be running again in 2016.

In Virginia's governor's race, Democrat Terry McAullife heavily outspent Ken Cuccinelli and had a double digit lead, but only won narrowly. Is this a referendum on ‘Obamacare’?

She said that it is to an extent, but it also shows that spending money doesn’t mean a guaranteed victory.
