(NECN) - With Hanukah starting at Thanksgiving, the holiday shopping season is already underway. Online shopping is expected to play a big role.

Chuck Moran from Burst Media joins NECN with the results of a dynamic survey that explains why.

"We're seeing about 60 percent of consumers say they're going to actually shop online. And when I say 'shop,' that means make a purchase," said Moran. "But 90 percent of people are actually going to go shop or research products online."

Moran also shares some numbers regarding those expected to use smartphones or tablets to research or buy products.
