(NECN) - The annual Veterans Day Parade was held Monday afternoon, starting on the Boston Common.

From there, the parade headed up Tremont Street to Cambridge Street, finishing at City Hall Plaza.               

Parades were held nationwide Monday honoring veterans. Also in Boston, there was a ceremony at the Massachusetts State House. Speakers included Gov. Deval Patrick and Hull native Gen. Richard Neal
