LEXINGTON, Ky (AP) — A Casey County woman accused of trying to poison her grandfather has been found not guilty.
After several days of testimony, WKYT-TV reports that a jury acquitted Brittney Miller on Thursday.
Prosecutors said Miller researched how to poison Leonard Walls by putting certain amounts of antifreeze in his coffee.
However, defense attorneys said Walls put antifreeze in his own coffee and then blamed it on Miller because he wanted sympathy.
