MSP Trooper struck in hit-and-run on Mass Pike in Grafton

(NECN) - A Massachusetts State Trooper is in the hospital after being struck in a hit and run on the Mass Pike.

It happened just after one o'clock Wednesday morning on the east bound side of the Pike in Grafton.

The trooper was outside of his cruiser walking towards the front when a car struck his cruiser from behind.
Fellow troopers responded and found the trooper conscious and walking with bruises on his face.
He was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center.

There is no information on the vehicle that struck the cruiser.
