(NECN) - More than two dozen people in the Boston area are facing charges for an alleged drug ring.

Boston Police seized drugs, weapons and cash as they made the arrest of 31 people.

Police made arrests in Boston, Quincy, Salem, Abington and Attleboro. They seized more than 100-thousand dollars in cash, four handguns, a rifle, a kilo of heroin and a half kilo of cocaine.

Officers say the suspects are career criminals and the ring was spear-headed by three men who supplied drugs and ran the operations.
