PD: Man Arrested for Two Robberies of Same Arlington Bank

Massachusetts police have arrested a man in connection with two robberies of the same bank in the last two months.

William R. Baro II, 43, of Billerica, was charged with two counts of unarmed robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime. He is accused of robbing the Winchester Savings Bank on Medford Street on Aug. 14 and Sept. 11.

Following an extensive investigation that included witness interviews and tips, Baro was arrested on Wednesday without incident at his home in Billerica, police said.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional charges may be sought, police said.

Baro, who is known to police, was brought to the Arlington Police Department and held overnight on $100,040 cash bail pending his arraignment Thursday at Cambridge District Court in Medford.
