*4:30pm update: NSTAR says it was not a gas leak. A contractor, who does not work for NSTAR, struck the pipe. They are working on the repairs now.

(NECN: Westwood, Mass.) – The Westwood, Mass. Fire Department confirmed there was a natural gas leak at University Ave. and Rosemont Road in Westwood.

NSTAR and local emergency responders were on scene.

No injuries were reported.
