Mass. State House honors fallen president with wreath

(NECN) - There was a simple tribute to honor President John F. Kennedy Friday at the Massachusetts State House.

A wreath was placed in front of the JFK statue on the Front Lawn.

Governor Deval Patrick laid that wreath with the head of the Massachusetts National Guard.

The JFK statue was dedicated at the State House in 1990.

The public was given access to the statue Friday, which is often off-limit because of security policies.
