(NECN) - A Massachusetts mall Santa has been charged after some bad behavior.

Sixty-two-year-old Herbert Jones pleaded not guilty Monday to one count of indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14.

Jones was arrested Saturday at the Hanover Mall for allegedly assaulting a female co-worker. He was employed as the mall's Santa Claus.

Jones is out on $1,000 bail and is prohibited from serving as a mall Santa at any locations pending the outcome of the case.
