2 injured in officer-involved shooting in Bridgeport, Conn.

(NECN) - An investigation is underway in Bridgeport, Conn., after two people were injured in an officer-involved shooting.
It happened Monday night in the parking lot of a shopping plaza.
According to Bridgeport authorities, a man and woman were allegedly involved in some type of criminal investigation before the shooting.
They were taken to area hospitals.
Their identities and conditions are unknown at this time.
Police said the officer involved in the shooting was with a team of officers.
Multiple officers reportedly drew their weapons, but only one fired.
