(NECN) - The New England Aquarium is helping dozens of sea turtles who got stranded on Cape Cod.

The turtles were stranded in Cape Cod Bay - and were taken to the Aquarium's animal care center in Quincy.

Aquarium officials say more than a dozen turtles were brought in Wednesday.

The animals need to have their temperatures raised by five degrees each day.

Officials say 45 turtles have been brought to the center in the past three days, and more than 90 since the start of November.
