(NECN: Jim Braude) – The book is “Adoption Nation: How the Adoption Revolution is Transforming Our Families and America.” The author is Adam Pertman, a former Boston Globe reporter and the executive director of the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute.

November 30 is the final night of Adoption Month, and Pertman joined Jim Braude to discuss an event that could change someone’s life. It is an opportunity for adults of color to learn about how they can become adoptive parents.

The event is “If you’ve ever thought about adoption, you’re not alone.” It is on Thursday, December 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. It is at the Salvation Army Ray And Joan Kroc Corps Community Center at 650 Dudley Street in Boston.
