Christmas billboard battle rages over Lincoln Tunnel

(NECN/CNN) - They're at opposite ends of a New York City tunnel.

And it's not a tunnel of love as Atheist and Catholic billboards take on Christmas and each other. 

There's not just light at the end of it -- there's a battle of the billboards. On the Jersey side, the Atheist holiday billboard reads, "You know it's a myth, this season, celebrate reason."

When the Catholic League saw the Atheist billboard, they put up its own billboard on the Manhattan side of the Lincoln Tunnel: "You know it's real. This season, celebrate Jesus."
