Hearings set on NH judicial nominations

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The Executive Council has scheduled hearings on Gov. Maggie Hassan's four nominations to New Hampshire's Circuit Court.

The nominees are Susan Carbon of Chichester, Robert Foley of Dover, Margaret-Ann Moran of Manchester and Patricia Quigley of Concord. They were recommended by the Governor's Judicial Selection Commission.

A hearing also will be held on former Assistant Attorney General Martin Honigberg's nomination to serve as one of three commissioners on New Hampshire's Public Utilities Commission. Honigberg is currently the leader of the Government Relations Practice Group at Sulloway & Hollis P.L.L.C and has served as special counsel to Gov. Jeanne Shaheen from 2001 to 2003.

Honigberg and Carbon's hearings are 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. respectively Dec. 4 in council chambers. The other hearings start at 6 p.m. Dec. 9.
