(NECN) - Police have searched the Connecticut home of a man who reportedly went to Wyoming and brutally killed his father and his father's girlfriend, before taking his own life.

Vernon, Conn. Police search Christopher Krumm's home on Saturday afternoon, just one day after the brutal attacks in Casper, Wyo.

Investigators say Krumm stabbed his father's girlfriend to death, and then shot his father in the head with a high-powered bow-and-arrow in front of six students at a community college.

Krumm's father was an instructor at the school.

Krumm took his own life by stabbing himself with a knife.

Krumm's Connecticut neighbors were left in shock.

"You never expect that, you can never really imagine someone you lived next to for months, suddenly drive out couple hundred miles, almost a thousand miles and go and kill somebody," Neighbor Kim Warren said.

Neighbors said the bomb squad was also three searching through Krumm's bedroom.

There is no word yet if anything was retrieved from the home.
