(NECN) - When a local bank teams up with a New England Patriots star and the U.S. Marine Corps - wonderful things can happen. That's what Eastern Bank is proving with its work for Toys for Tots this holiday season.

Vince Wilfork and Eastern Bank are promoting a holiday Toys for Tots collection campaign in partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's annual program.

The public is encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped toys at any Eastern Bank branch until Dec. 17.

Monetary contributions may also be made to the Toys for Tots savings account - allowing Toys for Tots to provide even more for under-priviledged children.

Learn more about the program online here.
