(NECN: Katelyn Tivnan, Winthrop, Mass.) - Snow turned to rain early Sunday morning near the coast in Winthrop, Mass.

On a very windy morning, there is a coastal flood advisory; some streets may become impassable.

One man actually attempted to surf the big waves along the coastline.

High tide is expected between 10 and 11 a.m.
