(NECN) -   Because of Tuesday’s snow storm, there are several delays and a handful of cancellations at Boston's Logan Airport.

Those delays are likely due to flights that were unable to land or delayed during the height of the storm.

Airport employees spent the night working to clear the runways as quickly as possible.

The travelers we spoke seemed pretty optimistic that would be taking off soon to reach their destinations.

Officials are urging travelers to contact their airline prior to arriving at the airport in order to avoid any potential hiccups in the flight scheduling.
