FAA says one dead in Spencer, Mass. plane crash

(NECN: Spencer, Mass.) - Federal aviation authorities say one person has died in a small plane crash in Spencer, Massachusetts.

The age and gender of the person is not immediately known.

The crash happened at Spencer Airport, which is located at 204 Paxton Road in Spencer.

FAA records show the plane is registered to Howard A. Eddy of West Brookfield, Massachusetts.

The FAA says there was only one person on the aircraft at the time of the crash.
