(NECN) - It's an annual scene playing out at malls across the country: Last-minute shoppers looking for some last-minute deals.

On Sunday, retailers expanded hours and stepped up promotions to entice shoppers.

Deanna Morgan was live at South Shore Plaza in Braintree, Mass., with more on the holiday procrastinators.

It wasn't too busy at the mall at around 9 p.m., but the shoppers that still had some shopping to do said they were feeling "panic."

What were the shoppers picking up? Jewelry, clothes and, of course, toys for the little ones.
