(NECN) - A father and son have been charged with stealing more than $50,000 from a little league in Medford, Mass.

The Middlesex District Attorney's office says Stanley and Stephen Komins will both appear in court next week.

Prosecutors say Stanley was president of the West Medford league's board and his son was treasurer.

An investigation showed the two wrote league checks to themselves and that Stanley deposited the proceeds from the snack stand into his own bank account.
