(NECN) - The closing bell rings on 2010. We take a look back at the top stories of the year, and a look ahead to 2011.

2010 was the year of growth, and the never-ending job search. Companies saw improvement and profit, and the stock market bounded back to health. Despite improvement, the last year of this decade may be remembered bitterly by some as the year they battled to stay in their home -- or fought unsuccessfully to return to work.
