(NECN/ABC) - Miley Cyrus has a learner's permit and a new car. No second hand junker for this teen queen. She'll be driving a $90,000 Porsche "Cayenne".

Mark Ruffalo is taking some time off after the fatal shooting of his brother. He has dropped out of the independent movie "Greenburg." Ben Stiller will take his place, but producers are still looking for his co-star since Amy Adams is passing on the project as well.

Evan Rachel Woods will play Peter Parker's girlfriend in "Spiderman" The Musical," which is slated to hit Broadway in 2010. Bono is providing the music for the highly anticipated stage show.

Paula Abdul is reliving her "Laker Girl" days, conducting a search for the country's best cheerleading squad for MTV. The five top contenders will face off on the show in early January.

Usher is singing lullabies again. The singer and his wife welcomed a baby boy. It's the couple's second son together. Usher's wife has three more sons from a previous relationship.
