December 19, 2008 Movies: Yes Man, Valkyrie, Despereaux Play video

Yes Man Some great sophomoric humor in this one note film. A lot of the movie feels like there is product placement. All-in-all, this film is funny but only strikes on one note.

Valkyrie Tom Cruise plays a Colonel who masterminds an attempted assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler. The one drawback is that some of the other big actors are not included enough.

Despereaux A cute movie with wonderful animation. The story is very convoluted. Looks great for kids, but the story is all over the place. It is considered a very dark G-rated movie.
