(NECN: Washington) - First Lady Laura Bush unveiled new White House china to reporters this morning.

President Bush and the first lady announced they will leave behind a new set of dinnerware when they leave the White House in two weeks. It is a set of china costing nearly $500,000.

There is a whole room set aside at the White House for the surviving antique china from Madison, Monroe, Lincoln and the Roosevelts.
