(NECN: Leslie Gaydos, Boston, Mass.) - Just in time for Valentine's Day, Cupid and Venus are getting a makeover in the conservation lab at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The 16th century masterpiece is being cleaned and retouched in preparation for an upcoming exhibition called "Titian Tintaretto Veranese: Rivals in Renaissance Venice." Venus with a mirror is a Veronese, on loan from the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha, Nebraska -- one of several works in the exhibition featuring Venus, Cupid and themes of love.
