(NECN/WMUR) - It is never polite to call anything ugly. But when it is an animal's name, there is no getting around it.

Meet 'Ugly Bat Boy', a New Hampshire feline who doesn't exactly fit a cute and cuddly description.

He is furless except for his chest, which sports a thick mane.

The cat, 8, was adopted by Dr. Stephen Bassett, who runs the Exeter Veterinary Hospital.

He was born in a litter with three other cats, and his sisters have the same look as him.
