| April 23, 2009 "GIMP" on stage in Boston
|
(NECN) - This weekend in Boston, you can see a unique performance that showcases both able-bodied, and disabled dancers.
"GIMP" challenges audiences to rethink what they know about disability and human beauty. Charlie Washburn, executive director of VSA Arts of Massachusetts and Jeremy Alliger, producer of "The GIMP project" join us to explain the concept.
GIMP will be at the Institute of Contemporary of Art Friday and Saturday at 8pm. Tickets are just $20-$25, and can be purchased by calling 617-438-3103.
