May 24, 2009 Review: Night at the Museum 2 Play video

(NECN: Jay Carr) - Ben Stiller tries to rescue his museum friends from Smithsonian storage in this sequel.

Stiller is accompanied by a good cast, featuring Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Robin Williams and The Simpsons everyman Hank Azaria.

Stiller's security guard character develops a romantic interest with that of Adams -- Amelia Earhart.

Azaria doubles as the villainous pharaoh and the voice of Abraham Lincoln, continuing in his versatile style.

The theme of this film is the reuniting of a family, bringing them back to the Smithsonian.

A little broader than the original, you will get mostly the same film as the first. But if you were a fan of the original, you will like this venture.
