| October 25, 2009 Review: Paranormal Activity, Cirque du Freak, Zombieland
|
(NECN: Jay Carr) - Just in time for Halloween, Paranormal Activity, Cirque du Freak and Zombieland make their appearances in movie theaters.
Zombieland stars Woody Harrelson, and is the one of these three that should be seen. It is has humor and is clever. Bill Murray makes the best cameo of the decade.
John C. Reilly heads the cast in Cirque du Freak, which pits him as a vampire mentor. This film is sort of a mess, because it never figured out what it wanted to be.
Paranormal Activity is a film made on a limited budget, but has audiences screaming across the country. It opened initially on a limited release. This, of the three, is the one making the most money at the box office. You will be ashamed at how often this film makes you jump up from your seat.
