(NECN) - Actor Christopher Walken will be in Cambridge, Massachusetts tonight to accept this year's Annual Hasty Pudding Man of the Year award.
Walken will be honored with the customary celebrity roast.
The 64-year-old Walken won a best supporting actor Oscar as a troubled Vietnam veteran in 1978's "The Deer Hunter." He was nominated again for 2002's "Catch Me If You Can."
Last year, he was featured in the films "Hairspray," and "Balls of Fury."
Talisa Friedman, press manager for the Hasty Pudding drama troupe, said Walken exemplifies the Hasty Pudding spirit and the value it puts on fun.
Last week, actress Charlize Theron was named the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year by Harvard's theatrical group.
NECN's Prat Thakkar has a preview.
