(NECN/ABC) - A very pregnant Angelina Jolie is in the spotlight in Cannes where she is promoting her starring role in Clint Eastwood's new movie "The Changeling". Jolie plays plays the mother of a kidnapped child. She says the character reminded her of her mother who had died shortly before filming began.
Scarlett Johansson is not in Cannes where her new film will premiere. Johansson co-stars in Woody Allen's new movie "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." The star reportedly decided to skip the festival when the studio refused to give in to her demands - including an eight-thousand dollar a day make up artist.
It's confirmed. Katie Holmes will make her Broadway debut in the Arthur Miller play "All My Sons." John Lithgow co-stars in the play about a family
patriarch's darkest secret. It's expected to open this autumn.
Prison break star Lane Garrison is being transferred to a substance abuse treatment center at a more secure prison in California. Officials won't say why, just that's it's for his own benefit. Garrison is serving time for vehicular manslaughter. Earlier there had been talk of a possible early release for good behavior.
