(NECN: Denver, Colorado) - Melissa Etheridge performed at the Democratic National Convention in Denver Wednesday. The award-winning singer/songwriter was accompanied by Phillip Sayce on guitar.
The duo played an acoustic medley of emotional American tunes, including "God Bless America", Bob Dylan's "Times they are a-changin", John Lennon's "Give peace a chance", and Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA".
The performance brought the crowd to their feet and tears to their eyes.
