(NECN) - The second annual Tomato Romp took place in Milwaukee, and the participants were red with joy. Or tomato juices.
People smashed some of the tomatoes first to soften the blow, took aim inside a caged area.
Organizers called it a scaled-down version of the tomato festival that is held in Spain annually.
The event also featured a blood mary competition at local bars and restaurants, for the adult crowd.
