| July 3, 2008 Rascal Flatts to perform with Boston Pops

(NECN: Latoyia Edwards, Boston, Mass.) - Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to turn out in Boston tomorrow night to see the fireworks. Today, some of them are out on the Esplanade, getting a sneak peak.
Boston Pops conductor Keith Lockhart will lead the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra in one of the country's proudest holiday traditions, the Boston Pops' Fourth of July concert at the Hatch Shell on Boston's Charles River Esplanade at 8:30 p.m.
Country music superstars Rascal Flatts will join Lockhart and the Boston Pops to perform some of their greatest hits. For the second consecutive year, Craig Gerguson of CBS' "The Late Show with Craig Ferguson," will host the special.
The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular will begin at 10:35 p.m. and run for 23 minutes.
