(NECN/ABC) - How's this for an unlikely couple -- Britney Spears and Mel Gibson are vacationing together in Costa Rica, but it's all good. Her father and his wife are along. Turns out they used to be neighbors in Malibu and have been offering her support since her well publicized melt down.
Lots of breakups in the news: Country singer Shania Twain has split from her husband of 14-years. He wrote and produced many of her top selling albums. They have a seven year old son.
And, according to People magazine Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson's on-again off-again relationship is off again. After Wilson's suicide attempt the couple got back together two months ago and there were rumors of an engagement...but now it's over.
It's been over for Heather Mills and Paul McCartney and now she's settled her disputes with three English newspapers which she had accused of libel and leaking details of the divorce. No word about the terms of the settlement. Mills was awarded nearly $50 million in her divorce.
