| May 11, 2008 Two CT students win National School Scrabble championship

(NECN) - Two Connecticut students proved they have a way with words. They won the National School Scrabble championship.
200 players from across the country competed in this weekend's contest in Providence, Rhode Island.
Teams of two from fifth through eighth grade tried to win as many round as they could in the contest.
The winners, Logan Rosen and Matt Silver of Westport, Connecticut walked away with the $5,000 prize.
A team from the Advanced Math and Science Academy charter school in Marlborough, Massachusetts came in third.
