(Lauren Collins, NECN) - The only B-24 Liberator that is fully restored and in working order was Lauren Collins' transportation today from Manchester, New Hampshire to Beverly, Massachusetts.
Thanks to the Collings Foundation, the history of the World War II era is alive and on tour.
The organization, based in Stow, Massachusetts, flies four of the most significant aircraft in history all over the country -- a B-17 Flying Fortress, a B-24 Liberator, a B-25 Mitchell and, probably the most famous fighter airplane ever, the P-51 Mustang.
Take the flight with Lauren in the video player above.
