(NECN/ABC) - Will Smith can't find a school he likes for his two kids, so he is leasing one. He's paying more than a million dollars to lease a high school campus near his home in California. He'll use the facility for three-years to run a private pre-K through 6th grade school.
Oscar winner Daniel Day Lewis will star in the upcoming big screen adaptation of the Broadway musical "Nine". He'll play a character based on the Italian film director Frederico Fellini. Lewis replaces Javier Bardem who cited exhaustion in dropping out of the project. Co-stars include Oscar winner Marion Cotilliard, Sophia Loren and Penelope Cruz.
The former "Scary Spice" is going solo. Mel B is working on a new CD which she hopes to release before the end of the year.
And Jennifer Hudson who grabbed a golden statuette for "Dreamgirls" is finally coming out with her debut solo album. The first single called "Spotlight" will hit the airwaves June 9th. The album will be available this September.
