(NECN) - The Big Three carmakers hope the detailed recovery plans they have offered will mean a warmer reception when their CEOs testify today in Congress. They are seeking $34 billion.
The Senate Banking Committee will quiz the CEOs about the plans.
The auto chiefs say government help is necessary to preserve the U.S. auto industry and keep the country out of a depression.
