(NECN) - A week ago, "Cape Wind", the wind energy project aimed at Nantucket Sound seemed likely to breeze to victory in the political battle over permits. But there's a last minute hitch that could spell trouble for the project. As reported in the Boston Globe, "The Coast Guard, at the urging of a Minnesota congressman, will delay by one month its recommendation on Cape Wind."

At issue is whether the project threatens safe navigation in the area. On this segment of Newsnight, Chet Curtis is joined by Jim Gordon president of Cape Wind Associates.
